Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dailoom ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and application (the "Service").

1. What we collect

Dailoom is a team activity product. To provide the Service, we store account and work-activity data that you and your team submit, including:

  • Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password
  • Team data: which employees belong to an admin's workspace
  • Activity data: daily plans, completed tasks (titles, descriptions, hours), optional task links (URLs), comments, and related notifications
  • Work schedule settings: employment type, overtime settings, and expected monthly hours (when configured)
  • Billing data: subscription plan and status, and Stripe customer / subscription identifiers for paid workspaces

We do not offer file uploads. Task "attachments" are optional links (URLs) you enter as text — there are no public storage buckets for user files.

2. How we use your data

  • To operate the Service (accounts, team feed, reports, exports)
  • To authenticate you and keep your workspace secure
  • To provide billing and subscription management for admins
  • To generate Team Insights for admins (see "AI insights" below)
  • To improve reliability and respond to support requests

3. AI insights

Admins can generate Team Insights for employees. When this feature is enabled with an OpenAI API key, we send a limited activity snapshot to OpenAI so it can produce a summary. That snapshot may include the employee's name and completed-task details from the selected period (for example titles, descriptions, and hours), plus related schedule/hours aggregates.

We do not send passwords or authentication secrets to OpenAI. Insights are generated on demand for the admin who requests them.

4. Service providers (third parties)

We do not use advertising pixels or third-party marketing analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or PostHog) in the product today.

We do use trusted service providers to run the Service:

  • Database hosting — stores your account and activity data
  • Stripe — processes payments and manages subscriptions / customer portal (receives admin name, email, and billing metadata as needed)
  • OpenAI — processes insight snapshots when AI insights are used
  • Google Fonts — may load fonts in the browser (standard font CDN requests)

These providers process data only to deliver their services to us. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Workspace admins can cancel or change a subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices through Stripe's Customer Portal (available from Billing in the app when you have a billing account).

6. Deleting data and accounts

  • Employees: cannot delete their own accounts. An admin can remove an employee from the workspace; that employee's daily reports and related content are deleted.
  • Admins: can delete their own account from Billing. This permanently deletes the admin account, all employees in that workspace, and associated activity data. If a Stripe subscription exists, we cancel it as part of deletion.
  • Task content: employees can edit or clear their own planned and completed tasks in the app.

7. Cookies and local storage

The web app stores a login token and basic user profile information in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

8. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When an admin deletes the account (or removes an employee), the corresponding data is deleted from our database as described above. Billing records may be retained by Stripe as required for payment and legal obligations.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices such as hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.

10. Children

The Service is intended for workplace use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.

12. Contact

Questions about privacy or your data? Contact us through the support channel listed for your plan, or reach out via the contact details on dailoom.co. Admins can also manage billing and account deletion in the app Billing section.
